CP Brady efficiently led the seismic retrofit of the Geer Road Bridge over the Tuolumne River, a critical safety project under the Highway Bridge Program (HBP). The retrofit involved adding two super bents on each bank, supported by large-diameter oscillated steel shells for deep foundations. Despite challenges like environmental work windows and artesian conditions in the pipe piles, Brady ensured these issues were effectively managed during construction. Through careful planning and execution, the project was completed successfully, reinforcing the bridge’s seismic resilience and ensuring long-term safety.
