Chris Brady has significantly advanced Stanislaus County’s urban pavement preservation efforts, managing over a dozen projects annually through the County’s Capital Improvement Program (CIP). Utilizing funding from Measure L, the Regional Surface Transportation Program (RSTP), and the State Transportation Block Grant Program (STBGP), he has preserved roughly 125 centerline miles of county road each year, employing diverse technologies such as Mill & Fills with fabric interlayers, Full Depth Reclamation (FDR), and Cold-In-Place Recycling (CIR), among others. Additionally, Brady spearheaded the development of the county’s first Pavement Management System (PMS), assessing 1,600 centerline miles using the PASER system. This has enabled more strategic prioritization of road segments for preservation treatments, significantly enhancing the region’s roadway maintenance and management.
